It was a welcome sight to see over 20 super keen Wombats down at pre-season training in early February. Great signs for the season ahead, with lots of new faces in attendance.
We ventured down to Saint Maur School in Yokohama and had a really good session for a few hours. Everyone got a decent bat, rolled the arm over, and took part in some fun fielding games that got the heart moving. Thanks heaps to Alex, and also Richie, for running the session and the drills.
It was even better to see almost all the 20 make their way to the Sakuragicho HUB afterwards for a few drinks that of course, lasted longer than the training session! I have a good feeling about this season ahead Wombats!
