The annual Tokyo Wombats Cricket Club presentation was held recently at Big Iowa BBQ in Roppongi, where lots of the season’s highlights and lowlights were recalled. A decent turn out of Wommies were in attendance to see who would take home the big gongs, the Golden Wombat for the best player in the Japan Cricket League Tournament (40 overs league), the Silver Wombat for the best player in the Japan Cup (T20 tournaments), best bowler, batter, fielder and the always impressively competitive drop of the year and Golden Thong for the idiot of the year!
