Paul Shackleford does it again in the Pac Cup final by taking 4 wickets in 4 overs. Shaxy's splendid performances in the last two Pac Cup fixtures have rocketed him to the top of TWCC's 2009 leading wicket-takers! Of course, another bottle of wine from our sponsor, Hardys Wines, was duly awarded!

TOKYO WOMBATS are a successful club, having won three premierships, and played finals' cricket in each of its seasons. However winning, and even playing, is only part of what we do - or why we do it. It's more about having a laugh, making some mates, getting out of Tokyo. Even if your cricket skills are average at best, join us for a drink.

"There's more to playing cricket than just playing cricket."

There are irregular practise sessions in season, but these are light-hearted affairs. A chance to catch up with mates, have a trundle. The same goes for playing.

We are sponsored by HARDYS WINES of Australia. Their generosity underlines our fund-raising, which helps keep our fees lower than other clubs. HARDYS provides wines for quiz nights, raffles, and on-field awards.

Tokyo Wombats make annual tours to Chiang Mai (Thailand) and Kobe.
